DISH – Le Nain Hotel

Jacee had her 2nd visit to Le Nain. Turnout was much bigger than the previous visit. Both residents and Jacee had a great time.

Plaza Apartments

Today Jacee visited our 2nd single room occupancy (SRO) supportive housing facility, Plaza Apartments, which serves people with medical needs. Jacee made a new friend there.

DISH – Le Nain Hotel

SF SPCA recently started animal therapy visits to supportive housing for the formerly homeless. Jacee will be alternating visits to two different SRO (single-room occupancy) facilities, Le Nain Hotel and Plaza Apartments, both in the Tenderloin district. Today we had our first visit to Le Nain. Le Nain is managed by DISH (Delivering Innovative Supportive Housing). Jacee met 6 residents, plus several staff members. This facility seems to be a good match for Jacee’s personality.

Hayes Convalescent Hospital

We returned to Hayes for the 2nd of 3 visits. Irene, the patient who talked to Jacee on our previous visit, had another great conversation with her.
