A 2nd grader was added to the program, so we are now at our full complement of 4 students.
The 2nd grader read And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street by Dr. Seuss. The other students read I Love My New Toy! (an Elephant and Piggie book), the first poem of Revolting Rhymes by Roald Dahl, which was an amazing reimagination of Cinderella, and completed Seven Blind Mice by Ed Young.
A 3rd 5th grader was added to the program. We should have more students starting in October.
Jacee was read Should I Share My Ice Cream?, Junie B. Jones Is a Party Animal, and Seven Blind Mice. Unfortunately the last book was interrupted by a fire drill.
All 3 students seem great for this program. They are able to read most of their books, and willingly ask for help when the need it.
We returned to Bryant for our first visit of the term. We met with two fifth graders. Jacee was read Junie B. Jones Is a Party Animal and Clifford the Small Red Puppy. Starting in October, the additional third graders will be added.
