About Jacee

Jacee was born on April 26, 2011. I raised her as a service dog puppy-in-training for Canine Companions for Independence. I turned her in to CCI for Advanced Training in November 2012.

Jacee was released by CCI in January 2013 for being too easily distracted, and I adopted her as a pet. I wanted to find her a job that would take advantage of her training, so we volunteered for the San Francisco SPCA Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program. She completed her certification, and we now work as a therapy team.

I created this blog to keep a record of her therapy dog activity.
