Jacee had her first visit to the SF VA Hospital’s Community Living Center. This is a skilled nursing facility for both short and long term stays. We visited many patients and Jacee made many new friends.
One of the case workers brought their 6 month old French Bulldog puppy. He and Jacee had a great time playing.
We continued with Maus: A Survivor’s Tale by Art Spiegelman.
Jacee was read Maus: A Survivor’s Tale by Art Spiegelman.
Jacee returned to SF State. Due to the rain today, there was a covered golf cart waiting to meet her at the parking lot, and the normally outdoors “Therapy Dog Tuesday” was held indoors.
At our previous visit to Rooftop, the kids asked Jacee to bark with an “inside voice”. We’ve spent the last 2 weeks training her to bark softly. She hasn’t quite got it yet, but she did do a few soft barks.
Jacee was read X: A Novel. This is the story of Malcolm X’s childhood, co-written by his daughter. Highly recommended for teens.
