Jacee returned to the Plaza Apartments for the first time in over two years. Plaza is transitional housing for formerly homeless people with physical challenges. One of the residents from two years ago was still there, and he and Jacee had a joyful reunion.
This was Jacee’s first visit to Sheffield. The patients’ health went from walk-ins to hospice and everything in between. The most rewarding visit was to a woman who is unresponsive to people but does respond to dogs. When her hand was placed on Jacee, she opened her eyes and pet Jacee.
Minerva is an international college. Students from all over the world attend classes via the Internet. Jacee visited one of their two dormitories in San Francisco to de-stress students. She got lots of love from students from all over the world. She worked with Papillion Owen.
